I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Biology-Geology-Environment from Nantes University (France) in 2022, and continued my studies in Evolutionary Biology at the University of Lille (France), where I completed my Master’s degree in 2024 through the “Science for a Changing Planet” Graduate Program. In 2023, I did an internship at the Center for New Technologies in Warsaw (Poland), where I worked on ancient vole samples from Britain. During my Master’s internship in 2024, I joined the FELIX project, analysing cat remains from the Viking era. In November 2024, I officially joined the FELIX project as a PhD student. My research focuses on using paleogenomic analyses of ancient cat remains to refine the timeline and circumstances of cat dispersal across Europe, as well as to explore the selection processes involved in the history of cat domestication.
