I am a molecular anthropologist and my research interests focus on the genomic study of the current human diversity, paleogenetics and the analysis of specific genes subjected to selective pressures. I received my PhD in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Rome Tor Vergata in 2016 with a research project centered on the genetics of native populations from Peruvian Amazon basin. After some professional experiences in the R&D section of private companies (Diatech pharmacogenetics), I started a post doc in 2019 at the Centre of Molecular Anthropology for Ancient DNA studies at the University of Rome Tor Vergata to study ancient genomes in prehistoric and historic human samples from Italy. In july 2021 I joined the FELIX project as lab manager and project administrator.
